How to ensure digital  privacy for all?

The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations system made up of 47 States responsible for the promotion and protection of all human rights around the globe.

Since its creation in the early 1980s, the unprecedented innovation of the internet has grown massively popular, especially since the last fifteen to twenty years, and became an essential element of our daily lives -from communication, information, reading, to entertainment- and alongside it the use of electronic devices also massively increased.

The multiplication of internet users and device owners brings enormous challenges, environmental, ethical, societal, and evidently human rights, in terms of privacy and protection of users’ data.
